Hey Ya’ll!
The other day I went back and read my journal from January 2020. In several entries, I wrote about wanting an opportunity that allowed me to use all of my skills and talents. I wanted to work full-time on something that combined my love of food and beverage with events and logistics. I wanted to work remotely, have autonomy, curate events, mentor others, work with people that I enjoyed, and still have the time and flexibility to pursue my other projects and interests. I was very detailed about these things but left a lot of space for the unexpected. Then covid happened and the world flipped upside down and I didn’t think much else about it.
The truth is, as an entrepreneur for the past 13 years, I was feeling a little burnt out. I wondered if there was anything that perfectly combined all of who I was and valued what I’ve built all of these years.
Well, it turns out that there is!
When I told one of my friends about the news, he reminded me that eons ago I created a pitch for a Jamaican beer company to allow me to do this very thing. So, instinctively, I’ve always known that this was the type of work that I wanted to do. At that point in my life though I didn’t know anything about the industry or how everything really worked.
I don’t know where this journey will take me, but I’m so excited to see it all unfold. Don’t worry, all of the other things that I’ve been doing well continue (this newsletter, Jamaica, etc.) I’ll formally announce the position soon!

Congratulations! I love it!
Congratulation, Sis!
