This newsletter began in 2016, before Substack, when I was running a restaurant, bar, and lounge in Atlanta and someone tried to steal my coffee table. What started as a place to unpack missteps, wild nights, and lessons in hospitality has evolved into a space where I explore how we drink, why we drink, and who we drink with.
Gatherings
Every so often, Holy Sip moves from the page into the world. I invite people into the field with me for gatherings in the places that inspire my writing. Sometimes it’s a riverside dinner in Jamaica and sometimes it’s a reimagined Shebeen in Atlanta. Invitations are announced through the newsletter.
